I am trying to work on it as I can, but I am working 15 hour shifts on my job and get little time outside of sleeping until the weekend.

(Example: If I select that an item has Mythical Dexterity of 8, it adds 8 to dex, but not the dex cap.) This needs to be fixed in order for the full range of the library to work. Also, the new items are problematic because GB doesn't support Mythical Stat Cap increases in the procs. None of the stats show up in the item description window but DO show up on the stat graphs on the right side of the screen. Now for the BIG problems, I tried to run a dry test to check out the new items. OK, got 50% done transitioning CarlSpackler's library over to GB and found out that the DF weaponry had to be redone, the stat delves were from before they took the Bedazzle procs off of that gear. sorry for the trouble but I have the morning off and just got some plat

* A few minor background code changes to get a little more speed out of some of the calculation parts. I will try to get it working again in the future, but wanted to get the spellcrafting change out today. * I was forced to remove the spec calculator from GearBunny Classic as it was no longer compatible with the way that program handles class information and could cause crashes when it was opened in some circumstances.

(Gem Imbue cost = Rounded up Old Stat Value / 1.7 and rounded to nearest whole number, very clever Broadsword ) * The spellcraft editors have been updated with the new gems and imbue values. I have updated GearBunnyX and Classic from v1.116 to v1.118 to account for the spellcraft changes made for the ‘Otherworlds Campaign.’ Mythical Stat Caps will require more time to research and implement properly… The changeover might make new template files saved incompatible with older versions of GearBunnyX. SECOND IMPORTANT NOTE: In previously saved templates, old spellcrafted items will still have their old stat values until you open them with the spellcraft calculator and change them. The install program will ask for permission to overwrite a master.gbv file if it finds it, do not choose yes if you have made any changes to your vault file or it will invalidate your saved

Sorry I really dont know whats going on here I found this sectionįIRST IMPORTANT NOTE: The vault file included is the same as the one I included with the 1.102 release from years ago. Talking the problem through might make it sound simple, but there are thousands of lines of code to sift through and identify the change points and side effects. To shift them into normal stats I have to rebuild the stats table without accidentally messing up the current vault file, and then train the stat calc function to look for the bonus everywhere (and then teach it that this too has a cap.) Then I have to make sure that these changes don't cause a problem with loading and saving templates and the vault file or have other side effects. When they first came out, it looked like they occupied the proc slots, so I put the bonuses there and the function that adds up all the stats only looks at that slot for those particular bonuses. It's not really about the slots themselves, but how I implemented Mythical bonuses. Perhaps not optimal, but it's possible to work with, and would show up in template text (each "mythic slot" could at least in name be "connected" to a gear slot - and maybe maybe there's a way to connect those to the actual gear items - would be nice, but still quite nice if that wouldn't happen). There could be as many as there's a total number of gear slots (taking into account for the possibility that all kinds of gear one day could have mythic cap bonuses (or other kind of bonuses) - yes maybe even 2 extra slots, in case new gear slots get introduced one day (like the mythical slot itself)).

How about you had extra slots, that wouldn't be connected to the actual gear (mythic cap gear), in essence more "gear slots" that gives bonuses/stats (like jewelry items/gear, no procs nor af (etc) properties). A totally different way of dealing with both is needed and at that point the entire program may as well be rewritten from scratch.

I am still figuring out how to make Mythical stat bonuses work on other slots besides the Mythirian slot, no ETA on when or if that will get implemented.Īs for a new vault file, I'm afraid there is no easy way to update it so it doesn't invalidate the work everyone has privately done on their own vaults and invalidate templates at the same time.
